Gwen has some drinks with Cat in the square and bemoans how heartbroken she is over the impending divorce. From Dimitri’s money. Gwen’s oddly happy to share his theory that she kidnapped him, but insists she didn’t do it. Well, she insists there’s no way for Dimitri to prove she’s guilty. That’s not quite the same.

Rafe pays Dimitri von Leuschner a visit — but he’s got no interest in his alleged Alamania kidnapping. He wants to know about the crypt kidnappings and the hidden camera feed going to Alamainia and… Didn’t Dimitri just go on a rant about being there? (And this is why Rafe’s a top FBI agent!)

Dimitri tries giving a hilarious breakdown of his time as a prisoner. There were servants “who… looked Alamainian!” A “rather large German chef.” Too much salt. Real nightmare fuel. Rafe doesn’t buy it and when Gwen gets home, he sees himself out.

What Happened to Liam?

Kristen’s clawing at the walls to get out of the hospital, so Sarah, sympathetic to her seeing Rachel, writes a prescription for antibiotics and discharges her.

Next up, Sarah sees Liam and his adorable son Gage, who’s in the clinic with a sore throat. It’s strep! Liam’s worried about the cost because he’s struggling, so Sarah reassures him it’s free. Maybe he should get a free opinion about that cut on his hand, too…

Nope, he doesn’t, even when Sarah spots it as she hands over the paperwork. “Is that a knife wound?” Liam insists he just cut his hand cutting carrots and hurries Gage out. Hmm…

Can Brady Set Boundaries With Rachel?

Brady meets Dr. Gregory to go over Rachel’s progress. He’s concerned about her friendship with Sophia, but the doc says it’s seemed to help Rachel. The real problem is the kid’s desperation for her parents to get back together. He needs to be crystal clear with Rachel — and Kristen — that it’ll never happen.

Rachel’s learned that since she successfully chased off all the other women in Brady’s life, she’s doing the right thing. That makes Brady worried for the woman in his life right now, but doctor’s orders are to keep going with Sarah so he can set boundaries with Rachel. But then Brady says Sarah is too new to do that now, and for the love of God, make up your mind if this is important or not, man.

Will Rachel Do Sophia’s Bidding?

Sophia visits Rachel for help with another “outing.” That sounds quaintly delightful. She needs money for a cell phone. She can’t keep stealing from the same nurse… So Rachel just needs to steal borrow from her dad!

Sophia ramps up the manipulation to get Rachel onboard, but she’s interrupted by a surprise visit from Kristen, snaps back into the catatonic act and wanders out of the room. Rachel’s over the moon and promises her mom that she still wants to talk to the judge.

Kristen then moves onto why Rachel wanted to hurt Sarah if she liked her. Between hugging Daddy and the baby kidnapping… What else was there to do? But she’s glad Sarah’s OK, and so is Kristen.

Brady joins them and Rachel is way too excited to have both parents there. But once they leave the room while she gets ready for dinner, she steals that money Sophia wanted.

In the Show’s Final Moments

Cat rushes over to Rafe’s house to compare notes. Rafe doesn’t believe Dimitri, and Cat doesn’t particularly trust Gwen. Then there’s the Vivian of it all. Maybe they were all working together? Rafe’s going to Alamainia with… someone, to question Vivian directly. But Cat needs to stay in Salem.

Dimitri tells Gwen he’ll make her pay for kidnapping him and storms out. She muses to herself that she’ll just prove he kidnapped his family.

Kristen and Brady rejoin Rachel just before the dinner bell, both promising to be back tomorrow. Sophia sneaks back in and Rachel hands the cash over. (Let’s hope those were some bigger bills than we saw, because that ain’t gonna cut it for a new phone!)
