General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 13, reveals that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will have a wild encounter while Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) makes a vow and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) returns for a Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) shocker.

As Drew presumably promises Willow her freedom and a reunion with her children, she’ll reflect on how wonderful that would be.

Willow will continue to treat Drew like her hero and leave him expecting a blissful new chapter together, but she obviously can’t stand him!

However, Willow knows the situation is complicated, so she’s taking all this one step at a time.

The most important thing right now is making sure Willow gets a not guilty verdict, so she’ll count on Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to deliver a powerful closing argument.

Of course, the situation is complicated for Alexis too now that she’s confirmed Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) theory about Willow’s guilt.

Alexis will need to get what she’s learned off her chest, so she’ll get ready to confide in Diane soon enough.

Diane will indeed be back in Tuesday’s episode following a long absence due to Carolyn Hennesy’s broken leg and multiple surgeries.

Hennesy is recovering nicely, so she’ll step back into the role of Diane and face quite a Willow shocker.

While Alexis spills to Diane about Willow being the real shooter, Trina’s actions will leave Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) puzzled.

Curtis won’t get why Trina is still interested in Willow’s case, so Trina will have to come up with an explanation to throw him off the trail.

Next, ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) will push Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to plug a police department leak as she gears up for her own closing argument in court.

Over with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), she’ll seem a bit unnerved as Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) makes it clear that he’s not someone to be underestimated.

Sidwell has a knack for pulling off his goals, so he’ll gloat to Jordan on Tuesday’s show.

At GH, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) will refuse to back off despite Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) frustration, so bad news is brewing.

Britt will wish she could just be done with all the drama of Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project, but Marco will threaten her and keep her in line instead.

As for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll talk to Carly about a taking a gamble – one that she may not approve of!

Since Valentin thinks it’s best if he changes hideouts, it looks like he’ll risk everything by hiding on Spoon Island.

Carly will flip out once Valentin offers updates on his next move, but she won’t be able to talk him out of it.
