Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for January 12-16 reveals that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will react to bad news while Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) takes a risk for Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) will also reconnect, so let’s talk about what’s coming up in Salem.

Following Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) decision to shove Brady out of Titan, he’ll face some backlash from Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).

Brady will eventually give Marlena updates on the situation and worry about the fate of Basic Black.

Although Brady wanted to honor John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) name and do right by the company, he may fear it’ll be impossible now.

Of course, Marlena won’t blame Brady and may promise that John would be proud of him no matter what.

As for Brady’s concerns about Rachel, Marlena may have a chance to weigh in on those, too.

After Brady speaks with Rachel’s doctor and perhaps expresses some worry over Sophia being her only friend at Bayview, he may share that worry with Marlena as well.

Marlena may assume Sophia is harmless at this point, but Brady may not get why Rachel likes hanging out with someone who doesn’t even talk to her.

Brady assumes Sophia is still stuck in a trance, so he just won’t get it.

However, Sophia is faking it and will recruit Rachel for yet another escape plan soon.

Rachel will do her part by posing as Sophia during bed check and will apparently steal some money for her, too.

Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark) will ultimately dish out some advice to Rachel, so there are two options here.

One is that Rachel will sneak out of Bayview too and get cornered by her teacher.

Another option is that Jeremy will pay Rachel a visit at Bayview to check on her and offer some guidance while he’s there.

As for Arianna “Ari” Horton (Marissa Reyes), she’ll face pressure to join a sorority with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).

Days spoilers say Ari will also flip out when she spies Sophia roaming around Salem in a hoodie, so she’ll try to figure out if Sophia is truly free or if this is a case of mistaken identity.

Next, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will reject Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte) despite that sizzling kiss he planted and push Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) to get rid of him again.

Dimitri will also push Javi Hernandez’s (Al Calderon) buttons and perhaps gloat about his smooch with Leo.

At the hospital, Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop) will apparently bring in his injured or ill son, so Sarah will serve as the boy’s doctor.

Sarah will also catch a glimpse of Liam’s banged-up hand and throw some questions at him despite Liam’s attempt to insist it’s nothing.

After Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) convinces Sarah to release her, Days spoilers say she’ll have a catch-up session with Gwen.

That’ll lead to Gwen and Kristen quizzing each other, but they’ll ultimately resume their friendship and look forward to some victories.

Over with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), DOOL fans can expect her to plot a break-in.

Cat wants to know what’s at the heart of the new hospital wing, but her attempt to sneak in the lab may bring another failure.

Across town, Days spoilers say Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will open up to Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) about the baby conflict she’s facing in her marriage.

Chanel and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) could have even bigger problems brewing if Sophia targets them soon.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sophia could also go after Trey DiMera (Joseph Ihlenf and Jordan Perdue) so stay tuned for any danger that might erupt.
