Days of our Lives 2026 Predictions: Blazing Rage, Passionate Romance & Jaw-Dropping Resurrections!

Days of Our Lives welcomes 2026 and Salem is set for big drama. Today, we’re going to dive into predictions for the year ahead for EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), Lexi Carver (Renee Jones), and lots more.

Days of our Lives: EJ DiMera and Cat Greene Spark a Real Romance

Our first prediction is about Cat Greene and EJ DiMera. I suspect they soon spark a real romance. We saw some chemistry between Cat Greene and EJ DiMera when they connected over Wuthering Heights and both being Clyde Weston’s (James Read) victims. But then because of the case, Cat Greene had to drug him and that kind of put a little stall on things. And then of course he was kidnapped.

But when EJ DiMera got loose from the mausoleum, Cat Greene was relieved—visibly relieved. She gave EJ DiMera a big hug and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) saw it. Even though Chad DiMera can’t be with Cat Greene, you could tell it kind of bothered him. Very soon, we’re going to have EJ DiMera and Cat Greene sharing a kiss. I do think more is coming soon for them. And I think it’s going to be hot.

Brady Black and Sarah Horton’s Relationship and Proposal Prediction

Our second prediction is that Brady Black falls fast and hard for Sarah Horton. They just shared a kiss and I suspect that we’re going to see Brady Black and Sarah Horton get super serious in 2026, but it’s not built to last. Brady Black and Sarah Horton bonded over love, loss. And little Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater). Brady Black is very supportive during Sarah Horton’s divorce from Xander Cook (Paul Telfer).

I suspect Brady Black and Sarah Horton are going to move forward even though they’re not destined for the long run. I think we’re going to see Brady Black and Sarah Horton make love soon. After that, Brady Black’s going to catch serious feelings, but I think Sarah Horton’s going to be less certain. Then Brady Black, I think, is going to propose. That might be the reality check that Sarah Horton needs to realize she’s just not over Xander Cook and may never be on Days of our Lives.

Sophia Choi Escapes Bayview and Kidnaps Trey DiMera

Our third prediction is that psycho Sophia Choi escapes from Bayview and kidnaps little Trey DiMera. Sophia Choi, let’s face it, is deeply troubled. She’s already running amok at Bayview using Rachel Black as her wicked little minion.

Sophia Choi knows how to sneak out of Bayview. She could get out and creep over to the apartment to peek in on baby Trey DiMera at Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) place. If you remember, Trey DiMera has been sick and he’s been crying a lot. Sophia may decide that they’re not taking good care of her baby. Consequently, Sophia Choi may steal Trey DiMera from Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree.

Days of our Lives: The Resurrection and Tragic Fate of Lexi Carver

Our fourth 2026 prediction is that Lexi Carver is resurrected, but then dies again. The person in the tube in EJ DiMera’s and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) lab is going to be revealed soon. In the latest big long mega promo, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) is looking at the human-sized tube and the look on her face is utter shock, beyond the look of somebody who just sees a person in a big test tube.

I think seeing Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) dead wife in the tube would absolutely shock Paulina Price. Plus, Lexi Carver has been name-dropped recently by Abe Carver, Theo Carver, and Chad DiMera. EJ DiMera was talking to the tube after Theo Carver was hurt and they escaped the crypt. EJ DiMera was apologizing. And I suspect it was to his sister Lexi Carver; EJ DiMera felt bad for not protecting her son, Theo Carver.

Lexi Carver may be resurrected by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf but then dies again because he hasn’t perfected the formula, or perhaps something happens to Theo Carver and Lexi Carver sacrifices herself to save her son.

Philip Kiriakis and Gabi Hernandez Engagement News on Days of our Lives

Our fifth prediction is about Philip Kiriakis and Gabi Hernandez. I suspect they’re going to get engaged in 2026. Philip and Gabi keep getting closer and he was with the Hernandez family for Thanksgiving.

With the way things are moving at a good clip for Gabi Hernandez and Philip Kiriakis, he could pop the question maybe by Valentine’s Day for February sweeps. But that also has me wondering if Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is going to turn up alive in time to ruin their happily ever after. I don’t think he’s dead.

Joy Wesley Returns with Alex Kiriakis’s Secret Baby

Our next prediction is about a baby bombshell. We know Joy Wesley left Salem in April 2025 pregnant with Alex Kiriakis’s baby. All the baby talk lately between Alex Kiriakis and his girlfriend, soon-to-be fiancée Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), may be foreshadowing a twist on Days of our Lives.

Joy Wesley could show up with Alex Kiriakis’s baby right after he marries Stephanie Johnson. If his new wife tells Alex Kiriakis she’s not sure about having kids, it would cause real big problems if Joy Wesley shows up holding Alex Kiriakis’s baby in her arms when she returns.

Days of our Lives: Holly Jonas’s Spiral and New Look in 2026

Our seventh prediction is that Holly Jonas has some sort of horrible spiral and ticks off both Ari and Tate Black (Leo Howard) and maybe other family members. We know Holly Jonas went to Paris for the holidays, but is she going to come back with a new and terrible attitude?

Holly Jonas has a new look in 2026: blonder hair, flashier, heavier makeup. And a new and irritating attitude. Holly Jonas is going to blow up at Tate Black and rant at him. It may be about him having to spend so much time with his family since Rachel Black’s still in Bayview. Holly Jonas’s going to turn her new bad attitude on her bestie Ari. And we’re going to see Ari clapping back at Holly Jonas and telling her to snap out of it. Maybe something happens while Holly Jonas is in Paris that’s to blame for her terrible new outlook in the new year.

Chad DiMera Recast and Potential Move to Boston

Our eighth 2026 prediction is for Chad DiMera. I suspect he may pack a bag and head to Boston with Thomas DiMera (Christopher Cary) and Charlotte DiMera (Olivia & Oakley Rondou) to stay with Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford). We know Jennifer Horton took the kids to Boston while Chad DiMera was kidnapped.

I assume Jennifer Horton enrolled them in school rather than letting them miss class time on Days of our Lives. So maybe Thomas DiMera will ask if they can return to Boston and Chad DiMera can either fight with his kids, fight with his in-laws, or follow them to Boston and let the kids finish the school year there.

The actors who play Chad DiMera and Thomas DiMera have both been recast. It’s a done deal. The new actors have their first air dates in April 2026. We know there’s going to be a gap between Christopher Cary and Billy Flynn’s final air dates and when the new actors start. A side trip to Boston could be the excuse to get them off the screen to cover for that gap.

Gwen Rizczech’s Heartbreak and Xander Cook’s Reconciliation

Our next to the last prediction for 2026 is that Gwen Rizczech gets her heart broken by Xander Cook. She’s still got the hots for Xander Cook, and he and Gwen Rizczech get steamy in 2026. A couple of times, not that long ago, Gwen Rizczech almost got Xander Cook into bed, but he tapped the brakes each time at the last minute.

Sarah Horton’s in his heart, but she’s going to get with Brady Black. I do think Gwen Rizczech is going to get a shot. Our leaker told us Brady Black and Sarah Horton are finished by March. And then Sarah Horton and Xander Cook start reconciling. At that point, Gwen Rizczech might get closer to somebody else, maybe reformed bad boy Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan).

Belle Black and Shawn-Douglas Brady Rekindle Their Romance

Our final prediction of 2026 is that Belle Black and Shawn-Douglas Brady reconnect and rekindle after he is shot. Belle Black and Shawn-Douglas Brady have been on and off sweethearts since high school, but they divorced and then they got closer when her dad John Black (Drake Hogestyn) saved his dad Bo Brady’s (Peter Reckell) life, but died in the process.

We haven’t seen Shawn-Douglas Brady much, but he’s back soon looking into the Stephanie Johnson stalker situation. In the end, Shawn-Douglas Brady’s going to wind up shot on the job. That could be what brings him and Belle Black back together as she is at his side while he fights for his life.
