Bold & Beautiful Tuesday Recap: Does Brooke/Katie Win Logan Trademark?

[Spoiler] Wins the Name Logan — Plus, Will and Electra Make Dylan an Offer She Can’t Refuse

Tuesday, December 30, 2025: Today on The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter and Liam race against time to secure the trademark of the word “Logan,” and Will and Electra offer Dylan even more than their moral support.

As the episode begins, Carter and Liam are at Forrester and Spectra, respectively, still furiously typing away in hopes of obtaining the Logan trademark. Brooke is still blathering on as if she’s the only Logan in the world. Katie is still pointing out that she’s a Logan, too. At the beach house, Dylan is assuring Will and Electra that she’s a hard worker. Electra insists that she has nothing to be ashamed of. “I never thought it would happen to me,” says Dylan, reading from her PSA script.

Will and Electra Join Team Dylan

After the opening credits, Electra wants to hear the story of how Dylan wound up unhoused again. Do we need to worry about Electra’s memory? Dylan just told her that yesterday. Anyway, this time Dylan adds that her parents don’t know and she doesn’t want anyone to.

Later, Will and Electra watch Dylan eat. She didn’t plan to become unhoused, she says. As if anyone does? She then tells her sad story a third time. Anybody wanna guess how many more run-throughs we’ll be watching? “You came to the right place,” Electra tells Dylan, “and told the right people.” Repeatedly, even!

Dylan assures the affluent sweethearts that she’s gonna make it on her own; she may not have rent money, but she has her pride. Electra is still worried, knowing that Dylan sometimes parks in not-so-safe places. Electra needs to know that her pal isn’t in danger. How long is it gonna take Will and Electra to say, “Stick around”? Finally, Electra spits it out.

Katie Wins the Logan Name

As Brooke and Ridge bark at Carter, he discovers that the trademark for Logan is no longer available. Why’s that? Liam has gotten it for Katie, Bill’s son says. Even though a trademark application takes months to process. Following a commercial break, Brooke explodes. “Katie is not gonna get away with this!” she huffs on her way out the door.

Meanwhile, at Spencer, Katie is thanking Liam and delighted that she will be able to use her own dang name. She then thanks Bill, who goes on and on about how talented she is. She never got the accolades at Forrester that she should’ve. At Spencer, he promises, she’ll get her spotlight. Wouldn’t one expect to have a pretty easy go of it at their spouse’s company? “Oh, you made copies… Amazing!”

Brooke Immediately Confronts Katie

While Ridge hollers at Carter about what Katie has done — overlooking the fact that Carter probably would have renewed the trademark on schedule if he hadn’t been busy throwing a coup with Hope — Brooke shows up at Spencer. No traffic in L.A. today, eh?

“How could you betray me like this?” Brooke asks even though she doesn’t want an answer. “I brought you into this industry, and this is how you thank me?” If only Katie had replied, “I loved you like a sister, and you thanked me by having a cheap-ass affair with my husband?” But she didn’t.

Brooke Offers Up a Reasonable Compromise

At Spencer, Bill gloats with Liam while Katie and Brooke try to “reason” with one another. Brooke scoffs that Katie doesn’t even have employees. Pretty sure she’ll have Eric and Deke on staff in a heartbeat! What’s more, Katie intends to emulate Eric and build her company from the ground up.

Again, Brooke says the name Logan is associated with her. Katie fires back that only Ridge has called her that; none of her other husbands did. Nice one, Katie! As the argument goes on, Brooke says she wouldn’t mind if the company was called Katie Logan Designs, even. But Katie — and this seems a bit unreasonable, no? — refuses. She wants a one-word name: Logan.

Katie Twists the Knife In Brooke’s Back

As the episode draws to a close, Electra and Will convince Dylan to stay… though she’s iffy about sticking around if Electra isn’t sleeping over, too. (Hmm.) At Spencer, Bill vows that the Forresters are done bullying Katie. At Forrester, Ridge huffs some more. Finally, Brooke accuses Katie of making their fight personal. “You’ve always envied me,” Brooke says, painting Katie as someone who wants her life but is nevertheless always judging her for it.

What’s more, Brooke shrugs off Katie’s fashion house as a flight of fancy. It’ll probably fail, Brooke says, citing “the realities of this business.” Which, in fairness, Katie has been in for more than a decade. Brooke doesn’t wanna hear about Katie’s stint as CEO of Forrester. That was during Bill’s hostile takeover, Brooke notes — another gift.

Is that what this is about — Bill? Katie asks. “Wouldn’t it be funny if after all these years, what you’re really upset about is you’re losing out to me over a man?” Katie did not come to play! “Does it infuriate you,” she goes on, “that a man you once controlled doesn’t want you anymore? He wants me.” Game, set, match. Katie ftw.
