It looks like it’s time to face one of life’s harshest truths: Bad things can happen to good people, even during the holiday season. Why do we say this? Because the latest General Hospital preview proves it to be true!

Last week, Willow’s trial began. And while nobody really thinks Drew’s new wife is the one who pulled the trigger, things definitely aren’t looking great for the nurse! But it seems she’s not the only one having her life turned upside down by what’s unfolding in the courtroom.

This week, Alexis calls Portia to the stand as part of a “blame anyone but my client” approach to clearing Willow’s name. Viewers know that Portia has a secret or two she’d just as soon keep under wraps, but that’s about as likely as Tracy putting on a tutu and performing Dance of the Sugar Plum fairy at the Metro Court restaurant.

That said, what line of questioning reduced Portia to a tearful puddle as she begs, “Please don’t do this!” That, kids, is what we’ll have to tune in to find out.

Lest one think that the show will feature nothing but tears and recriminations, know that there will also be festive gatherings… including one at which it appears Sonny will be playing the role of Santa.
