Days of Our Lives Preview: The Hortons Gather for a Beloved Holiday Tradition — Plus, Xander Has a Special Gift for Maggie

If there’s one thing Days of Our Lives know, it’s that the decorating of the Horton Christmas tree is the must-see event of the holiday season. But before that can take place, Salem will see several characters return and at least one very special moment courtesy of Xander’s gift to Maggie.

It’s a Horton Holiday!

Lani and Eli make a trip home for the holidays, and Thomas sings “Silent Night” for the Hortons as they gather around the tree. Chad sits by, watching his son, and beams with joy. Can we hope the little guy has forgiven his dad? The fact that Chad, Thomas, and Charlotte all hang Abby’s ornament on the tree together is a good sign! And what about Jen and Jack? Will they drop the custody suit in the spirit of Christmas? Or will Jen continue playing the family Grinch?

The Blacks and Kiriakis Clans Celebrate

Marlena pays Rachel a visit in Bayview, while Xander presents Maggie with a giant present and a Merry Christmas. (Looking at the shape of Xander’s gift, we’re pretty sure we know exactly what it contains… and are ready to weep right along with Maggie if we’re right!)  It seems it really is the season of forgiving! But will the Blacks get a miracle and the release of little Rachel, or is there still more work she needs to do? Then, Smack dab in the middle of Horton Square, Brady and Sarah share a smooch, and no, we don’t see any mistletoe overhead.
