The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of December 1-5 reveals that Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) escape will go wrong while Claire Newman’s (Hayley Erin) rage is unleashed.

First, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have a fierce faceoff.

After Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) fails to strike an Arabesque deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll find Phyllis and Lily fighting over him at the athletic club.

Once Cane breaks up the conflict, Lily will take off while he scolds Phyllis.

Cane will make it clear that he’s picked a side in this Lily and Phyllis feud, but he won’t share which one.

Although Cane will seem angry enough to side with Lily, Phyllis may not count herself out just yet!

Next, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have a dangerous pitch for the Abbott clan to consider.

Once they put it to a vote, it looks like everyone will agree to take Jabot offline for three months to prevent Victor’s AI invasion.

Later, Jack will put some trust in Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and share something he doesn’t want her spilling to anyone else.

Will Nikki get updates on Jack’s plan to shut down Jabot temporarily?

As for Victor, he’ll get distracted from the Abbott-Newman feud after a disturbing message comes in from California.

It won’t be long until Victor makes his way to The Shadow Room, where he’ll clash with Matt Clark aka “Mitch Bacall” (Roger Howarth).

After that confrontation, Y&R spoilers say Victor will waste no time in striking back at Matt, who’ll quickly realize Victor has a big advantage over him.

As for Noah and Sienna, they’ll come up with an escape strategy. That may not go according to plan since Matt will back Noah into a corner soon after.

Matt will force Noah to do something, so he might threaten Sienna’s life or even Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) lives to make that happen.

Noah may have to admit he had an affair with Sienna and throw himself at Matt’s mercy.

Back in Genoa City, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will beg Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to give them another chance as a couple, but he won’t be interested.

Nate would much rather see where this renewed spark with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) might lead.

Across town, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will go on the hunt for some Victor leverage.

The mother-son duo will hope to score some dirt that could work in the Abbotts’ favor.

Finally, Claire will cross paths with Audra and let her temper get the best of her. Audra will push one button too many, so Claire will let her fury erupt.
