Days of Our Lives Preview: Jennifer Serves Chad With Custody Papers — and Has Rachel Struck Again?
The Hortons and the town of Salem, coming together last week to celebrate the opening of the Tom Horton Clinic, was a nice bit of peace while it lasted. This week’s promo for Days of Our Lives teases family backstabbing, another missing DiMera, and a case of poisoning gone wrong.
Family Troubles
Lucas, who did his best to avoid the newly engaged Sami last week, suggests to Rafe that their mutual ex is trying to get under their skin. You have to admit, Sami showing up with a fiancé whom we’ve never met, let alone heard of, sounds like a classic Sami scheme!
Not only did Rafe receive the troubling news that Tony had disappeared, but now he informs Gabi that Kristen missed bed check in prison! Is someone rounding up the DiMeras?
Apparently, trying to hold onto the title of “Salem’s Most Hated”, Jennifer throws down a folder of papers on the table in front of Chad, claiming it’s what she must do. Yes indeed, they are custody papers for Charlotte and Thomas!
Sarah’s In Danger — Again!
Someone all in black, so we know they are a bad guy or gal, puts a few drops of liquid into a beverage cup next to a bag of take-out that’s labeled for Alex. It could only be Jeremy Horton doing this, right?
Meanwhile, Xander and Brady face off over Brady going after Sarah, and the next thing you know, Xander’s confronting his soon-to-be-ex and orders Sarah to sign the divorce papers.
Finally, the promo closes out with Sarah frantically gasping for air, as Brady turns to a shocked Rachel and asks, “What did you do?” Has Rachel struck again, or did Sarah pick up the wrong take-out and drink something meant for someone else?
