Young and Restless Early Weekly Spoilers Aug 25-29: Billy Unleashes New Weapon, Nate’s Exit Stuns Genoa City

Young and the Restless early weekly spoilers for August 25th through the 29th. We’re going to talk about Billy Abbott‘s (Jason Thompson) secret weapon and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) walking out.
Young and the Restless Weekly Spoilers: Dramatic Twists Await
As we always do on early edition day, we start with what’s coming the rest of this week and then dive into what’s coming next week.
On Wednesday, August 20th, look for Chelsea Lawson Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to be talking about the hit piece they did on Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). It also took a swipe at Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers). They are expecting revenge from his son.
Meanwhile, Adam is no fan of Victor Newman‘s (Eric Braeden) plan to ally with Cane, but Chelsea thinks Cane might agree. Chelsea also thinks her grifter days can help them with the coming battle. She is totally Team Newman now. She drank the Kool-Aid.

Adam Newman & Chelsea: The Fallout from the Hit Piece on Young and Restless
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is launching AbbottComm next week. She invites Billy to be her plus one to the kickoff party. She’s a little worried about not disappointing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) since it’s all his money. Sally tells Billy that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is going to be her secret weapon. But Billy’s not sure they can trust her. Sally is worried about Billy versus Cane and the Newmans at the same time, but Billy has a secret weapon too.
Young and Restless: Sally Spectra’s Big Launch and Abbott Family Tensions
Sally and Billy run into Chelsea Newman and Adam. Sally lays into them for attacking Billy in the Cane article. Sally is stunned that Chelsea is doing Victor’s dirty work. Adam says everything they wrote was true. Billy tells Chelsea to redeem herself by covering Sally’s launch of AbbottComm.
Adam is like, “Why would we cover the launch of a competitor?” Chelsea says congratulations to Sally. Adam thinks the company is in much better hands with her than Billy, which is pretty funny.
Adam is also mocking Billy for being at loose ends, but he says he’s got exciting new things happening. Once they go, Chelsea tells Adam she actually does think Billy is cooking up something, or he wouldn’t give AbbottComm to Sally.
Holden Novak Stirs Up Drama Among Friends on Y&R
Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) talks about being on a dating TV show, but he tells Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin), Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) that his reality TV career was over because of a producer on the show that he had ghosted. Holden just hopes to find a woman who’s impressed that he learned from his past.
All four of them look as Audra and Nate enter. Claire decides now’s the time. She goes over and tells Nate that Audra cut a deal with Victor. Victor would fund her company if she seduced Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and split them. Of course, Audra denies it and says Kyle was chasing her in France.
Claire says Kyle wouldn’t have even been there if Audra didn’t drag him along for her lame perfume plot. Claire tells Nate about the kiss she saw the other day in town. Audra tries to blame that on Kyle as well. Claire says Audra failed and that’s why Victor dropped her. Claire advises Nate to just ask Victor about it if he wants confirmation on Young and the Restless.
Audra Charles Exposed: Victor Newman’s Power Plays
Claire exits with Holden hot on her heels. Holden asks Claire, “What if Kyle did do what Audra said?” Because you know, both things can be true. Holden tells Claire he’s got some experience with Audra’s charm and that she is hard to resist. But Holden says Kyle won the lottery with Claire. We all know Holden wants to steal Kyle’s winning lottery ticket.
Claire admits to Holden that she’s got some doubts about Kyle’s choices. Holden is very nice to her. Tessa takes Daniel’s hand when they are all alone and says she’s great. He is happy to hear Tessa saying that he’s a bright spot in her life along with her daughter Aria Porter. Tessa says when she’s with him, she feels like she could be happy again. Daniel says he feels the same way.
Young and Restless: Nate Hastings Faces Betrayal and Family Grief
Nate tells Audra it’s been the worst day. He buried his brother Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) is struggling. Audra says she’s sorry Claire picked that day to lie to him and then gets mad when she’s pretty sure Nate believes Claire. Nate says Claire and Kyle have zero reason to lie to him.
Also, Nate says everything Claire said lines up with the timelines of what he knows are true. He’s not experienced Claire telling him any lies. Audra claims it’s Kyle who is lying and has tricked Claire, but Nate doesn’t think she’s that gullible.
Audra says Victor’s right about it and Kyle will break Claire’s heart. That seals it. Nate says, “How would you even know what Victor thinks about any of this if you weren’t doing business with him?” Well, Audra’s mouth got her busted.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Newman’s Decisions Shock Genoa City
Thursday, August 21st, Victor makes a decision that shocks people. This could be about the Cane alliance. It could be about him telling Claire he’s going to drop his vendetta against Kyle, which I would not believe for a moment. Also, Jack gives Kyle some advice. I’m sure it’s about his situation with Claire, Victor, and Audra and the mess.
Nate spends some time with Devon Winters (Bryton James), bringing him up to speed. I’m sure Nate’s going to tell Devon about Damian’s funeral, about his concerns about Amy Lewis, and the mess with Audra Charles. Devon and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) don’t like her, and they’ve made no bones about it. So I’m sure Devon’s going to tell Nate to just cut your losses.
Young and Restless: Phyllis Summers Takes on a Risky Assignment
Friday, August 22nd, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) gets to work on her first assignment from Cane. I wonder if he’s going to task Phyllis to spy on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) or somebody else close to her. Cane might want her to mess with Nick and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) in their reunion. Nate gets fed up with Audra Charles and demands to know the whole truth. Nate is ready to push her hand and wants it all out on the table.
Y&R Preview: The Newman Gamble and Billy’s Secret Weapon
August 25th through the 29th next week, we’ve got Adam talking to Victor about this idea of an alliance with Cane. Nick is on board. Chelsea is leaning into it too, but Adam may need some convincing. Victor is one of those “just do what I say” type of people. Billy Abbott is excited to get his hands on Chancellor without Cane’s help.
The big question is, what is his secret weapon? I mean, it might be Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), but that seems unlikely since she has remained close to Cane. Nick and Sharon dive into their fresh start. Look for romance soon, kisses, and more. But will they have interference from somebody with red hair?

Nate and Victoria: When Truth Comes Out
Nate is leaning on Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). I’m sure Nate’s going to open up about what Claire told him about Audra working with Victor and trying to seduce Kyle Abbott. The thing is, Victoria can absolutely confirm yes, she knows this is all true. She even confronted her dad about it.
So when Nate and Victoria talk, that’s going to ice the cake. There’s no way he can trust Audra after this. It is the worst time in the world for this to come out, considering his family stress and them grieving, but when it rains it pours, right?
Relationship Shakeups: Claire, Kyle, Tessa, Daniel & Mariah
Claire and Kyle may soon be on shaky ground. Claire spoke her inner fears to Holden that she can’t be sure Kyle didn’t cross any lines. Our spoilers say Claire makes a tough decision soon. She may end her relationship with Kyle. Tessa and Daniel’s connection deepens. They are getting closer. The dynamic is slowly shifting. Obviously, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) still has a hand in this. We still don’t know if she killed the old guy or is just feeling guilty because she tried to kill him.
Cane, Phyllis & Audra: New Schemes Brewing on Y&R
Cane is getting closer to Phyllis now. We all know Cane is all about Lily. Getting back with her is his singular focus in life. But Phyllis may keep trying to shift his attention to her, like we’ve seen her do this week. Meanwhile, Audra is furious. She is going to have nothing left but her job at AbbottComm.
I wonder if she is going to just flip out, come after Claire, Kyle, and others she blames like Victor and maybe try and use AbbottComm to target those she blames. I will say if Audra wants to slap at Victor using AbbottComm, Billy is probably totally on board, but he’s not the boss.
