General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) could impersonate Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) in a shocking twist. Could Peter have a diabolical plan to reunite with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms)?

We know that Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) mystery boss is someone who’s unhinged and capable of disturbing things.

That could line up with Peter’s potential comeback if he’s behind all the drama at the Five Poppies Resort.

Of course, things may not be quite what they seem!

It’s possible that Britt’s mystery boss will initially appear to be someone else – namely Nathan now that we know Ryan Paevey is set to return to GH in some form.

It’s easy to see a big reveal where Nathan seems to be giving orders and acting all evil.

However, this could eventually turn out to be an impersonation plot where Peter is wearing a Nathan mask or has perhaps altered his appearance somehow.

It could be a case of plastic surgery or even a clone situation where Peter’s brain has somehow taken over a lookalike Nathan’s body.

This seems like the kind of storyline that’s sure to go off the rails and bring some wild curveballs.

Now that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is facing a medical crisis, she might end up in a coma somewhere.

There might be some dramatic moment where “Nathan” takes Maxie’s hand and assures her everything’s going to be OK.

In reality, it could be creepy Peter who’s lurking under the surface and manipulating the situation.

Peter’s ultimate goal could be to win Maxie back, so that’s another chapter that could play out down the road.

It could be something that happens once Kirsten Storms’ upcoming extended break from the show is over.

If Peter wanted to start a new life – particularly one with Maxie – stealing Nathan’s face would be a pretty smart move.

Britt’s resurrection could help Peter out since it would make “Nathan’s” own resurrection more believable.

Although Britt is back for real, Nathan’s comeback may not be quite so simple!

There’s no confirmation yet on who Ryan Paevey is playing, but it may be Nathan with a twist if Peter is perhaps impersonating him.
