Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Intense Drama and Legal Battles from August 11th to 15th
On Monday, August 11th, Belle Black (Martha Madison) absolutely blasts EJ. She’s going to storm into the mansion and tell EJ that he is dead to her. Belle says she never wants to see him again. EJ is visibly upset, but he knew that was a risk he was taking when he pulled that stunt.
Marlena gets a new client on Monday, and I wonder if it could be Rachel Black (Alice Halsey). She is meeting with EJ this week, but he’s not a new client, he’s an old client. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) apologizes to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for smooching him at the bistro and for what happened afterward.
That kiss was a reaction to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). I’m guessing Brady doesn’t mind the kiss one bit. He’s falling for Sarah soon, but he probably minds the punch in the face that he got as a result. Gabi goes after Xander and chews him a new one for his brutish behavior at the Bistro.
Xander in the Wrong
Xander acted like a wine-fueled jerk when he punched Brady after Sarah kissed the guy. Brady didn’t kiss her. Sarah initiated it because she saw Gabi kissing Xander. We should get some replay of those Friday scenes to set that up on Monday.
On Tuesday, August 12th, Marlena has another hypnosis session with EJ. I wonder if we finally get to see the shooter space even if he doesn’t. But I do think EJ has a breakthrough because of a spoiler for later in this week. Amy reaches out to her daughter Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd).
I do wonder if the teen mom is going to be receptive to her mom, Amy. Sophia feels very guilty about the lengths she had to go to, but she fully blames Amy for pushing her to that point. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) feels the pressure of his trial, knowing that a verdict could put him behind bars for years.
But his wife Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is there to comfort him. Rachel is really worrying Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Brady. She has to testify this week and Rachel’s freaking out. Her parents are just concerned because their daughter has got a wild streak and she’s already been having stomach pains and a lot of antics going on.
Cat Returns Chad’s Favor
On Wednesday, August 13th, we have Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) returning the favor to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Remember, he was taking care of her when she had strep, but then he decided to kiss her, which is the worst thing to do when somebody has strep. Chad may have caught the bug from Cat.
Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) get some advice from Belle. I wonder if Tate’s legal eagle, Auntie Belle, gives him her two cents about this private adoption and whether Tate can get the info that he wants. Sophia and Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) have a heart-to-heart chat.
Nothing at all has turned out the way Sophia was expecting. She sees Tate kissing Holly and is upset. Ari tells Sophia, “Just let it go. Move on with your life.” However, Sophia may be trying to get her baby daddy back through nefarious means.
Marlena in Shock on Days of Our Lives
Marlena is completely shocked when EJ slaps her with a subpoena. She may have to disclose the results of his session during the trial. However, Marlena may bend the truth to protect Rachel if that is the issue that has EJ bringing Marlena to court. On Thursday, August 14th, Chanel is bracing herself to get on the stand in court.
She seems ready to sacrifice her freedom to save Johnny. She is testifying this week, and I’m sure the video that Belle was sent is going to be the topic of conversation. But if you remember, EJ added some things to that video. There’s some deep fake stuff there. Things that Chanel does not remember saying, but if she says she doesn’t remember saying them, I wonder if EJ will ask, “Oh, well, did you also forget shooting me?” We’ll see.
Marlena has a new theory to share with Belle. She asks her mom, Marlena, if she knows the identity of the shooter. EJ pours his heart out to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). The in-laws are talking at the mansion. EJ’s brokenhearted about Belle and Gwen’s a little upset about the whole Sarah and Xander thing. I think it’d be pretty interesting to see EJ and Gwen hop in the sack.
Gwen Lies to Sarah
Xander Cook gets defensive with Sarah. She may confront her arranged hubby because Gwen tells Sarah this week that Xander is moving on with her. However, I think Gwen is talking out of her backside because I don’t think Xander is planning to do that. He keeps rejecting Gwen on Days of our Lives.
Rachel throws a tantrum and freaks people out this week. Also, Kristen and Rachel run into Sarah outside the pub. I wonder if Rachel’s going to confess to Sarah about what is going on inside her. The kid is falling apart. On Friday, August 15th, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) has a juror roommate.
Sophia Tries to Help Tate
So, it sounds like the jury may be sequestered until the verdict. Sophia tries to ease Tate’s mind about the adoption, but he just wants to meet his kiddo and he is not going to let up. This is very problematic because Sophia and DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) told a whole bunch of lies and did some fraudulent paperwork.
Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) opens up to Belle about her worries. She doesn’t like the idea of Chanel being on the stand and accusations being flung her way. Meanwhile, Johnny warns EJ to go easy on Chanel during her testimony, but I doubt EJ will do it.
It looks like he has no problem putting Johnny’s relationship at risk. EJ will do anything he can to save Johnny from prison, but something EJ does sets Johnny off and he fires EJ as his defense attorney.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Trial Developments and Relationship Turmoil from August 18th to 22nd
The week of August 18th through the 22nd, we should have the trial beginning to wind down. Johnny may avoid Statesville after all. We’ll see. But unless he changes his mind, he may need a new lawyer. Could be Melinda, could be Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), or maybe he will relent about EJ.
We know Kristen DiMera is in Statesville prison denim soon. So, when the truth finally comes out about Rachel, it looks like Kristen may take the fall to keep her kid out of juvie. Xander and Sarah continue to go through the motions of learning to live apart, but these are soulmates that have been ripped in half.
We all know they still love each other deeply, even though other people have their eyes on them. Gwen still wants a piece of daddy Xand’s candy and could continue to try to weasel her way into replacing Sarah in Xander’s heart, his head, and his bed. On the other side of things, Brady soon begins to pine for Sarah.
Gwen & Brady in for Disappointment on Days of Our Lives
But both Gwen and Brady are up against true love and they are not going to win the day. The Queen of the Night dreams could intensify for Marlena. Her dear friend Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) could have more visions now that she is talking to the dead.
We may learn more about the Phoenix rising from the ashes again if Susan keeps insisting Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) is indeed alive and back in Salem and the mansion. Cat and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) continue to delve into EJ’s finances and his wicked plans for the hospital.
Hopefully, we’re going to find out who the angel investor is soon. I’m really hoping that it’s somebody wicked like Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel). Chad DiMera and Cat may decide to head out on another date once they’re both over the strep throat. We’ll see if Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) can keep it zipped about them. I personally doubt it.
