The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that a new Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) whodunit could be brewing. Will Cane get seriously injured in a vengeful mystery storyline?

Now that Cane is settling back in Genoa City, he’s ruffling quite a few feathers in the process.

Cane has been buying up real estate and putting all the pieces in place for his GC domination plot.

Since Cane has basically become enemy number one around town, he’s got a target on his back.

Y&R delivered a whodunit story in Nice, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they did another mystery in Genoa City next.

There are plenty of people who’d have a motive to go after Cane, so the show could easily do a “who shot Cane” scenario or find some other way to create deadly danger.

Of course, Cane isn’t going anywhere since Billy Flynn just joined the show recently and is here to stay.

That means Cane will survive whatever might be in store for him, but he could still be seriously injured if there’s an attempt on his life.

It’d be interesting if Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) got accused of pulling the trigger on Cane.

Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) could land on the suspect list as well if he blames Cane for Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) demise in the end.

Even Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) could be pushed over the edge enough to go after Cane, so she might be considered a suspect, too.

All the Newmans and the Abbotts could enter the suspect zone as well, so Cane seems like the perfect whodunit candidate.

Cane believed someone was trying to kill him in France, but the bigger threat may play out in his old hometown!

Some new revenge plots are indeed about to launch, so Cane will get targeted and prepare to fight back.

Will Cane land in more trouble than he bargained for soon enough?
