Bold & Beautiful Exclusive: Be Afraid, Steffy! Luna Is a Free Woman — and ‘She Stops at Nothing When She Sees Something She Wants’

The Bold and the Beautiful delivered a jaw-dropper of an ending to its March 12 episode (recapped here): As Steffy was demanding that double murderess Luna be returned to prison, it was revealed that Tom and Hollis’ killer had been pardoned. How? Why?
Based on Bill’s shifty expression as the scene was playing out, we can only assume that he got the charges against Finn’s newfound daughter dismissed, and to hell with the two innocent people whose lives she cut short, not to mention the fact that she was going to send Steffy to the grave, too.
In other words, it’s another eye-roll-worthy case of SOLO (soap-opera law and order) like the one that allowed Sheila to go free after she murdered Lance, shot Stephanie, Brooke, Taylor, Steffy and Finn, and kidnapped pretty much everyone who ever crossed her path. Translation: nonsense.
So what’s next? For one thing, poor Steffy is going to have to start sleeping with one eye open again and work overtime to keep Finn from inviting into their lives yet another woman who’s tried to kill her. Beyond that, Luna can start working to remove Electra from crush Will’s side. The fact that he was first introduced to Luna as her brother doesn’t even factor into her list of concerns.
“Hopefully, since Will only knew her as his ‘sister’ for a short period of time, he’ll be able to look past that,” Lisa Yamada suggests to Soaps.com. It is hardly out of the question. “Honestly, so many of the characters on this show are somewhat related, and they’ve still managed to get together, so maybe Will won’t write it off so quickly.

“I think the biggest obstacle for Will is that Luna’s a murderess,” she adds. “Will seems like he’s got a good head on his shoulders, so I imagine murder is where he draws the line. But she stops at nothing when she sees something she wants, so maybe in her mind, a Will/Luna relationship is already written in the cards, Will just doesn’t know it yet.”
